Security print company, A1 Trade Print Services has made it to the finals of the PrintWeek Awards 2014 in the category of best performing SME. This hotly contested category spanned the entire UK print industry, and is judged on financial performance, strategy, capital investment and training programmes.

A1’s managing director Jim Richardson said, ‘I’m extremely proud of what we have achieved in recent years. Our market place continues to be challenging but we strive to push improvements both in terms of efficiencies and innovation.’

The continued growth of A1 Trade Print Services means that it is very unlikely that they will be eligible for the SME category in 2015, so they will need to find a new category!
