We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Finishing Operative to join the team running the security print lines.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• To achieve high performance in terms of throughput and quality from running the security print lines.
• To operate security finishing equipment at maximum efficiency and speed consistent with all quality requirements of work.
• To ensure that work is monitored as required for Quality and that all formal Quality procedures are adhered to in full.
• To ensure Information Security Procedures are adhered to in full in line with ISO27001.
• To ensure that all shop floor data collection is accurate and input correctly at all times.
• To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to and that work is conducted in a safe manner.

Desirable Skills/Experience: 

• Operating foiling equipment preferably Dimuken.
• Operating continuous encoders and collators.
• Operating sheet fed and continuous lasers.
• Operating hologram applicators.
• Operating numbering machines experience preferably Inotech.
• Operating sheeting equipment, preferably Laurenti.
• Guillotine experience.
• Organised and methodical approach to working in a production environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.

Benefits:

35 hours per week on a rotating double day shift pattern

Monday to Friday 06:00-13:00 or 13:00-20:00 with 20 min paid break
