We have a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and motivated General Finishing Operative to join our growing team. 

Main Purpose of role

To achieve high performance in terms of throughput and quality from the production equipment and processes for which you are responsible.

Main Duties and responsibilities

• Operate equipment at maximum efficiency and speed consistent with all quality requirements of work
• Solve problems rapidly, highlighting problems to the attention of the Factory Manager
• Ensure that work is monitored as required for Quality and that all formal Quality procedures are adhered to in full
• Ensure that all shop floor data collection is accurate and input correctly at all times
• Maintain a safe, clean and well organised working environment at all times
• Ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to and that work is conducted in a safe manner
• Ensure Information Security Procedures as specified in the Information Security Manual are followed
• Undertake training as required by the company related to the maintenance of a highly skilled, capable and flexible workforce

Desired skills

You need to be able to communicate well with your team. You’ll also need to be reliable and have a can-do approach.

Personal qualities

You will need to be punctual, reliable, honest and have a strong work ethic.

You must be able to work as part of a team, but also be able to work on your own to achieve targets and deadlines.

• 35 Hours per week, 06:00-13:00 or 13:00-20:00 Monday to Friday

Successful candidates must pass:

• 5 year UK permanent residency
• Satisfactory reference check
• Credit reference check
