A1 Security Print celebrated 25 years of trading under the A1 name today. The advent of this important milestone has prompted us to reflect on what we’ve achieved over this time and to reaffirm our commitment for the future. Over the next 12 months we’ll be marking the occasion by looking at where we’ve been, what we do, and what makes us different.
We have actually been printing at our Camp Lane site in Birmingham since 1933, but it was not until January 7th 1991 that the A1 chapter of our story began, when Carltonia merged with Abalink Printing and Timbuktu to form A1 Paper Stationery Limited. It was only in May 2015 that the business underwent a rebrand, and it was important to us not to depart from the long association with the A1 name and the good reputation that has been built up over this period. The new name, A1 Security Print, reaffirmed our core security print offering, while still retaining a connection with our heritage.
Throughout 2016 we’ll be looking to celebrate our success with the people who helped us reach this milestone (employees, clients and suppliers), and the people who will keep us in business and celebrating anniversaries for a long time to come.
