On 17th September, A1 Security Print signed a 3-year extension to the framework agreement with the South Sudan National Examinations Council (SSNEC)
A1 Security Print has a long-standing relationship with the SSNEC, supplying basestock qualification Certificates protected with layers of cutting-edge security features. The newly extended agreement will see this relationship continue until at least 2024.
Simon Nyok Deng, Secretary General of SSNEC said
“Our deepest appreciation to you and the team at A1 Security Print for the successful implementation of this joint partnership. We can extend the agreement for an additional three years, although I can see a long term partnership in this.”
Nick Smith, Commercial Manager at A1SP commented
“We usually meet international clients at conferences each year, but haven’t been able to over the last couple of years due to the pandemic. We had visited SSNEC in Juba during 2019, and there were plans for a reciprocal visit to the UK last year, but this was not able to go ahead. However, this hasn’t hindered the service that A1SP provide our clients which is evidenced by this 3 year Framework extension with SSNEC.”
He further added
“Certificates are the ‘currency’ of an Awarding Body. It is critical to protect them against counterfeiting and forgery which undermines the reputation of the Awarding Body and the value placed nationally and internationally in the Certificates. This is why the Certificates we produce for the SSNEC incorporate a combination of over 20 overt, covert and forensic layers of security features.”
A partnership between A1SP and Troy also allowed for the development and deployment of a secure inkjet personalisation solution. Nick Smith explained:
“For many clients we receive data and perform the personalisation incorporating additional digital security features such as encrypted QR Codes and personalised microprint backgrounds. In this case the client wanted to perform the personalisation of the Certificates in-country and still build in additional security. The Troy inkjet solution was the perfect fit for this as information is printed visibly and also in invisible UV fluorescing ink. The printer trays are lockable which also protects against potential pilferage. A1SP has a strategic partnership relationship with Troy where we are able to develop suitable product designs and solutions to best suit clients’ requirements.”
