NITA is a trade qualification awarding body in Kenya which is mandated by the State Department of Labour to promote and certify the highest standards of Industrial Training across a vast range of disciplines.
Training and testing takes place across 3 sessions each year, at more than 300 centres, and with over 50,000 qualifications awarded at three distinct levels.
Following the evaluation of an open international tender and a site visit to A1SP, NITA placed a multi-year contract with A1SP to enhance the physical security and digital verification of their certificates.
The A1 Solution
The certificate incorporates layers of overt, covert and forensic security feature that protects the organisation and its reputation against the production of counterfeit fake certificates, the fraudulent alteration of genuine certificates, and enables the fast and accurate authentication of the holder and qualification.
Overt security features include a bespoke hologram and ACTIVE tactile, iridescent feature, as well as covert inks and micro-printing.
Digitised candidate photographs and data is securely transferred to A1SP where they are matched, personalised, and sorted into centre packs which assists the logistical in-country distribution process.
Each certificate has the candidate and qualification details repeatedly micro-printed across the background, as well as a unique encrypted QR Code which can be authenticated using the restricted access VeriSecure smartphone App.
This combination of physical security features and secure digital verification provides NITA with a highly secure and distinctively recognisable certificate that provides candidates with a passport to work.
We are able to securely verify the Certificates by scanning the encrypted QR Code using the VeriSecure smartphone App. This provides very convenient real time authentication
